Let's Play Minecraft - Ep.113: Boats & Carts

Today we mess around with boat and mine cart ideas for the cave. Let me know what you think of the ideas. The water seems more intrusive than I was expecting, now that I see a visual example of it.

Sorry for the short episode, and somewhat lack of episodes recently. I've been busy trying to get lots of construction work done before winter comes.

You could put a pulse limiter on the pressure plate for the minecart system. That way no matter how long you stand on the pressure plate, the signal will only get sent once, and for a short burst. Also, for your farm, you could change the lever to a button, and using a much longer pulse limiter you could have the pistons automatically stop letting the water flow. (You'd have to find a good timing for how long the water needs to flow to clear all the crops.
