Great band. Remember "Sun God" very much. Thanks for the reminder.

My favorite band of all time! Thank you for posting this.

Loved these guys back in the early 80's. Amazing album from some pretty young bucks too. Still one of my faves. While there were other punk/ noisy bands out there ( melvins, etc) these guys definitely had a style all their own, in part because of the ridiculously awesome drumming. Kudos!

Ever heard of green river and the Melvins???
or Mother Love Bone???ALLL those bands were active in the 80s... and they did plenty. Squirell Bait was not alone.
But they certainly were different then the main stream, and they certainly were amazing.

One of the greatest albums of all time.

Does anybody have the lyrics?

@MrEx3 : showing a little luv for NJ's rockin'est station of the 80s-90s, WPRB. I like it. Guess you didn't need Exit 72 stompin' on yr buzz.
i love SB, i think that their music is the perfect balance between hardcore(husker du) and grunge (nirvana)

Bought this in Atlanta right after it came out..had heard a single on a local punk show in Birmingham..it was unlike anything I'd ever heard. Their brand of melodic, punk-tinged garage rock would become a staple sound in the 90's, but they were really the only one's doing this stuff in the late 80's..they were innovators and, in my opinion, did more to formulate what would become the "90's sound" than Nirvana.
