@twinturbonissan300zx THIS IS WHY PEOPLE SHOULD BE ANGRY THAT HE GOT HANGED. AT THE END OF THE DAY, HE GOT HANGED DUE TO THE IRRERSPONSIBILITY OF DRUG USERS, THAT'S WHAT CAUSES OVERDOSES. THE FACT ITS PRESCRIBED IN THOSE COUNTRIES, MEANS THAT IF USED RESPONSIBLY, IT WON'T CAUSE OVERDOSES AND DEATHS. THE DEATH PENALTY THEREFORE FOR TRAFFICKING HEROIN IS JUST PLAIN WRONG. FOR GOD'S SAKE, MORPHINE (98% HEROIN) IS USED IN HOSPITALS EVERYDAY FOR GENERAL PAIN. I LOVE CODEINE TOO SO FUCK YOU!

" Under the chemical names diamorphine and diacetylmorphine, heroin is a legally prescribed controlled drug in the United Kingdom, and is supplied in tablet or injectable form for the same indications as morphine is, often being preferred over morphine due to its lower side-effect profile. It is also available for prescription to long-term users in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany and Denmark ".
If used responsibly, heroin is ok, proof above.

abolish singapore hanging laws and legalise drugs

Alcohol causes more trouble in any community than heroin. Are people calling for the heads the owners of alcohol companies? No. Prescription drugs cause more accidental deaths than heroin, and often lead to heroin if they are for pain relief and stop working. Also many pain killers are opiate based (just like heroin) and therefore provide a true gateway to heroin. Do we call for the heads of chemists? No. Same deal with cigarettes. You people are blinded hypocrites, and I feel sorry for you.

oh my the song is too depressing.
While this is sad for this young fella's family, everyone knows the deal when in countries like this.
He took a risk and he got caught, sad but thats the way it is.
I feel many people seem to think the Oz go soft on criminals is a world wide thing, when if fact most countries punish criminals and perhaps for that reason Australia's soft on approach should be condemned, or maybe Australia should make the public aware (via a media campaign) that the Oz soft on approach applies only to Oz!
