Well, there are two examples that prove you're wrong and have no clue as to what you are talking about. "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" and "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" were both singles by different artists, at different times. Come on.

this version is genius! the arrangement so full..you know Stevie is all over this with his distinct sound. Nobody can do it like Stevie.

marvin gaye released it in 1963 so why would he comeback in 1967 with the same song as a single
