Projecte Europa. EU investments in Catalonia

The EU is a long-term political project that represents common values of democracy, peace and prosperity. But the EU is also a specific and material reality that has an impact on the daily life of its citizens. In Catalonia we have benefitted from this reality since we joined the EU 24 years ago. How? What have been the results of European policies in our towns and cities?

The aim of the PROJECTE EUROPA exhibition is to provide answers to these questions, giving examples of projects co-funded with European investment in Catalonia, more specifically, investment projects of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Cohesion Fund. These are only a sample of the thousands of projects promoted all over Catalonia by European Union aid policies in areas as diverse as transport infrastructure improvement, environment and local and urban research and development. The projects selected for this exhibition are a representative example of project types, amounts of subsidies granted and project locations.
