there are in emsland (germany), yamanashi and aichi (japan), in shangai (china) and there are experimentals maglevs in USA and korea.
finally the highest recorded speed of a maglev train is 581 km/h (361 mph), achieved in Japan in 2003.

mexico does sound a bit more appealing. A more lively culture atleast. But I'm tired of visiting third world countries. I've been through europe also. So I guess I have to check out the developed countries of Asia. So Japan here I come!!!!!!!!!!!
