There are darker variants of Breakaway out there. If you can find one online for a reasonable price, get one of those instead - or better yet, just get Thrust.

At least Bloody Sideswipe does sound pretty cool. Same thing what I did to my Voyager B-Hooks Optimus, I tried to give him some silver paintjob on his head but completely messed him up. Then I used nail polish remover but it ruined the plastic altogether. In the end I just recoloured the damaged parts w/ silver paints and then use a blue Gundam marker to paint a thin layer of blue on top of them for some metallic blue effect. Somehow he looks more like a Battle Damaged ver.

@MEIDOco well like I told Xindi that during my wanna be collectors phase when the ROTF movie was about to come out I wanted to make my own custom figure. So I found some left over red and white house paint and used that. I didnt like the results so I tried scraping it off. Same thing with my movie sideswipe figure. After I got done with all of that scraping on Sideswipe he ended up looking like a bloody human killer ( hence the red paint ) and my breakaway just ended up looking like a mess. lol

I feel your pain, bro. Worse part is me trying to mod his head and his cockpit, instead of chiselling the clear plastic window for clearance to bring his head up, I just ended ruining the whole thing and his head still won't pop out properly.
