The Boombamela festival is based on bringing Hippy Ideals like Peace and Love to the younger generation, focusing on an age group between sixteen and twenty three
This is one of the biggest annual festivals of its kind in Israel. Boombamela in its eighth year running approached Mike's Place in order to gain appeal with an older and international crowd, while diversifying there musical line up with some raunchy Rock and Blues, Mike's Place style.
Mike's Place was charged with the task of bringing a fun International flavor to the Boombamela festival and did so with a bang, adding international party themes, international drinking games and college style fun to an already impressive line up of English speaking Rock and Blues acts.
