that is different in between Malaysia and Indonesia.

but that is not much of Chinese want to join the armed force.

malaysian army can be divided into many regiments such RAMD, RENJER, GGK, RSD, KAD.. etc

i knew one chinese officer in malaysian army.. his name Mejar Chong from Rejimen Renjer...

and if you want to see many chinese in malaysian army... go for reserve army... or search in u tube about 'askar wataniah' or 'askar simpanan' ...
