I grew up in Vancouver but moved to Portland in 1997.

Did I say I didn't recognize ANY of those names? I have voted for (or would have if I could) some of them. I would need to do quite a bit of research on what they've been up to lately before deciding to vote for any of them. Sten always seemed kinda cool. A lot of them are spoiled brats I wouldn't vote for.

Don't make assumptions on things by what I DIDN'T say.

My "winners" comment was to ask if any of them could win against a PBA shill.

I'm shocked, though, that you don't recognize any of the names I listed. Are you a Portlander? Ever lived here?

Every one of these people has a history in the public eye, and every one has won elections here, yet you've never heard of them. None are "winners," apparently.

Perhaps you should leave the process of selecting a mayor to people who live in Portland?

Thanks for this list, I will do research on these people and come up with an opinion. Although, a quick glance at them doesn't seem to turn up any "winners". Who on this list could stand a chance against someone propped up by the PBA?

Sam's apologists continually claim that he's the only person who can lead this city. Nonsense!
