Yeshua did so @ Passover @ the word of God that this should B done forever Yeshua taught/continued this command Why did he not tell them don't do this anymore & Paul comes along and teaches what Yeshua taught. Paul says U come and get drunk & eat all the food from each other. I doubt he was talking about crackers. It was a meal/Passover meal. Passover is not to make u righteous but it was an ordnance God said to keep 4ever Paul Kept other feast days too. God said forever he change not but we did

I've Been Raise hearing this. But plz show me scripture saying this Not what our tradition has passed down to us from THe Catholic church and their father and Popes. Why is it that those in 1Cor11 church they were Gentiles (Born again) ANd held the Passover that day? I never read stop it. As far as Circumcision this was given as a sign for salvation anything to do w/blood is gone as the bible says it's the Circ of the heart not the flesh. And we born again R all Jews according to the word.

Where does it say they were celebrating the Passover? The fact that Jesus instituted communion during a Passover seder does not equate to every Lord's table being a seder.

Communion is the lord's supper, They took it @ the last supper IE the last passover supper the passover meal. God gave instructions on how to take it in Ex 12:1-14 And he said this was forever. Paul rebukes the Church@Corinth (New Gentile converts) in the way of the passover meal so why did we throw the passover out the window and settle for juice and crackers? this is far from a meal. In Exodus God is describing a meal so what are we doing? Jesus N1Cr 11:17-34 As oft would Be yearly Passover

The Passover was given as a sign of what was to come, the Lord's table looks back on the finished work. As New Testament Christians, whether Jew or Gentile, we are no more required to keep the Passover than we are to be circumcised. We are commanded to remember, and the elements represent the atoning sacrifice of Christ. Paul addressed the misuse of the Lord's table in Corinth as a time of feasting and not remembering.
