The Rudy Giuliani-9/11 defense doesn't work anymore, Rick. Stop with trying to come up with more ways to divert attention from the trouble you've caused. And lay off that smug look, Rick...the act has worn thin.
Pitino was just stating that Louisville embraced him when he needed to be embraced, because of his connections to 9/11, and the loss of a good friend in Billy Minardi. That press conference was meant to solace noone but the city of Louisville, and we knew what Rick meant. Give a fuck less what Jim Rome thinks.
