What's this? Another part after all 120 exits and the final battle?

Yes. Big Boo's Secret! contains a secret area. (I'm not sure who discovered this-- I didn't find this on my own.)

What is this secret area?

It's 5 areas from Super Mario Advance 2!
- Yoshi's Island 1
- Donut Plains 1
- Chocolate Island 5
- first room of Sunken Ghost Ship
- Forest of Illusion 1

You can see the GBA palettes here (they really don't look that good in direct comparison to the SNES palletes, do they?), along with the smaller screen size (especially in Forest of Illusion 1).

The normal and secret exits act as they normally (and secretly) do.

By the way, once you collect at least 5 Dragon Coins, they'll all disappear. (I had to play this area anyway to collect the Dragon Coins. Remember that this playthough collects every Dragon Coin I know of (not counting that one in Pipe World 5)?)

Warning: If you pass through a midpoint, then exit the level without obtaining a normal or secret exit, you will be locked out of Big Boo's Secret!, permanently!

So, anyway, this is the real end of the playthrough. I decided to finish by walking to every location on the map.

I hope you enjoyed my playthrough!

...That makes three. I'm running out of hacks I've played that I feel like uploading... Any suggestions as to what I could try playing? (Note that all of my video playthroughs are the 2nd+ time through, so it's not like I would upload any suggestion anytime soon.)

  • Is SMA2 Super Mari Advanced 2

  • No, it's Super Mario Advance 2. With an "o" and without a "d".

And I have no idea what the point is of asking that.

  • Awesome playthrough! I suggest you try making a video of Luigi's Adventure. The original Japanese hack might be a little to hardcore (by no means Kaizo difficulty, just challenging and particularly skill demanding), so you might want to try Luigi's Adventure: Overseas Edition instead. Wonderful level design and a step up from average difficulty hacks without going too far!

  • Oh, I actually already started a playthrough of Luigi's Adventure OSE a while ago, which I never got around to finishing. I probably will finish it sometime though, since it is a pretty fun hack if you can handle the difficulty.

  • So many mario hacks :)

  • @Zeldara109

Hopefully you'll finish it sometime, and I'm really looking forward to it!

  • Which hack? This one, or Notte Luminosa?

My comments on SDWTLC are in part 67.

Notte Luminosa has not been too interesting to me so far. The overworld is open from the start for some reason (which also means no difficulty curve), the music is too happy for my taste, and there are blind jumps all over the place.

  • I'll try out that hack. (I hadn't heard of it until your comment.)

(By the way, I realized my question at the end may have been a little confusing. I clarified it so hopefully no one will think I'm taking requests-- I'll only upload a particular hack if I feel like it.)
