he US Govt has just given Obama the power to imprison indefinitely and murder any US citizen on Obama's say so, the media don't seem interested - they are interested in Putin and they call HIM the 'strongman' or 'tyrant'. I'm an American and I really respect Putin for being absolutely genuine and always calling people out when they say something he doesn't agree with. He reminds me of Ron Paul, who NEEDS to win the presidency.

@partaley China's economy has tons of problems. The reason China is seeing 7-10% annual growth in GDP is because the government sets those growth rates as targets and stimulates the economy to meet those target rates. However, they are simply building lots of stuff that no one wants to buy. You have ghost cities, ghost malls....why? China doesn't care about market practices, they just want the numbers to look nice. But how nice is it to built stuff that no one wants to buy?

@partaley Scandinavia is not socialist, it has a mixed economy with capitalist/socialist elements to it. They have market-based economies. Hell, China has a market-based economy as well. However, why would you compare Scandinavia with the US? Scandinavia is home to like 20 million people total, most of them with the same culture and beliefs. The US is the center of an empire with 310 million people of all races, ideologies and cultures. What works in Scandinavia will not work in the US.

@partaley 90% of Native Americans died from imported disease that the Europeans brought when they came to the new continent. Hell, a lot of them were wiped out before the US was a country. Granted, we did kill Native Americans that resisted the expansion of the US to the West, but that number is nowhere near as large as you claim it.

@Omarizationable Don't make the assumption that all of us are idiots here. Most likely, somewhere in the history of your country, land was taken from someone else. That aside, there is some truth in what you say regarding the U.S. as a terrorist state. However, keep in mind, we don't live in a democracy. The rich and powerful have taken over and brainwashed us through control of the media most of the poor and middle class to follow their lead. Take heart. In a few years we will be bankrupt.
