Passive Aggressive Letter

I'm not making fun of anyone in this video.
If you need help, don't email ppl on YT unless they are a trained professional! I'm sure most of us would love to help you but we just are not equipped with the right skills needed to make sure you are getting the necessary help, treatment, medication, attention that you need and deserve.
I've been in dark places myself and I encourage you, if you are having suicidal thoughts or have a suicidal plan to seek help immediately!

I've decided not to reply to comments on this video, however I will read every single one of them and answer privately if needed. The reason I made this video is because I and several other YouTubers DO actually get a lot of suicidal teens emailing us- it's one thing to ASK for help- it another to write me and threaten me that if I don't write you back by 2 pm they will kill themselves.
Again, I'm not making fun of ANYONE. This video is not a joke and I didn't post it in entertainment or comedy. I've dealt with my fair share of ppl on YT and outside of YT who are and have been suicidal and I am NOT a trained professional. Anyone trying to HELP anyone else needs to redirect that person to seek professional help- PERIOD.
And for the record, I never sent this video in email format to ANYONE. I will not reveal private messages that I've sent to people who are in need of help.

*This is a passive aggressive script written for the purposes of this video only. Comparing this video to actual compassion I have when dealing with people who are suicidal will be a misstep on your part since you do not have access to those private messages and never will.
And most of my closest friends here on YouTube know that I myself suffer from depression and I myself have been in the hospital.

Do not think you can save someone else unless you are a trained professional. Encourage them to seek help, provide them with the right resources... but please, never tell them to write you whenever they are feeling down- because the first minute you are not there for them, for whatever reasons, and they are having a really bad moment, that could seriously be the end and no one wants that- tell them to seek help!

Thank you for posting this. It's kind of like this person who is 23 keeps on telling me they are going to kill themselves but they never do it. Yet they expect me, a 16 year old girl, to be able to carry their burden. I've told them about every way and method they could go about getting help, but they don't do anything about it. No one can help her until she helps herself. I would know, I've fought depression. She is my friend, but her life is her responsibilty, not mine.

to be honest....this video helped me.. lolz ppl keep saying that ur just "making fun" of passive aggressive ppl who apparently make things worse for suicidal teens or watever, but i think this video is just being honest.

i've been that person the "suicidal"/depressed person keeps calling/ emailing & i've been the suicidal teen/depressed adult. Sometimes our self-pity blinds us from the fact that: yes the world can suck & ppl can be mean, but we need to grow up about it & make ourselves happy.
