@88Sabrine88 Actually! if you want to get technical about it, American is not a language as American's speak English, just with an accent, therefore couldn't it be said that everyone sings in English......

the accent comes out in the pronunciation of the vowels..the tempo of the music either increases or decreases the length of the vowel therefore people generally 'lose' their accent when singing, english people think they're singing in english accent and american american accent,.....ozzie ..ozzie accent.
its pretty arrogant/obvious that americans would presume that people sing in 'american'
