This is my first attempt at charging a non rechargable battery using the pulse from a 555 timer to trigger a transister.
The battery did recharge and had usable power afterwards.

  • lol why do that when you can get one at a electronic store that charges your battery like AAA,AA,and cellphone battery too and at the same time lol and small watch battery's too i got one for 12 dollars.

  • for fun, Tis better than TV in my humble oppnion

  • interesting idea but now they have very small non rechargable battery rechargers at radioshack that cost a few hundred dollars.

  • well this one costs maybe £10 to build and works fine, however this was my first experiment, check out my other vid for new devlopments.

  • I know that but still, that had to have taken a lot of work. I know a ton about electronics but still, I don't think I have ever made a circuit that big. I mean I have made multiple circuits that were connected on different circuit boards but still...

  • The board may look big but I managed to fit it in a 2" by 4" board. The bigger board is for demonstration. This board takes 20 minutes to build and is made mainly from recycled parts. :~}
