Agree with other posters. Fracci is PERFECTION; Bruhn is like, "Oh well, that's over, whatever." And yes, camerawork is dizzy-ing, but it's an interesting idea that not only is Giselle heart-broken, she has visions of her impending afterlife as a Wili and she is terrified.

@nuaksoy. I have no problem with Fracci's performance. Bruhn, however, was terrible. I keep this video as a prime example of how not to film a ballet.

think this video is only to show mimical expressions but not the dance because this is a very dramatic scene in the act where face and body language is very important

@ballerinette1 . Sorry, but the DVD was simply dreadful. The director of photography should be condemned to the nastiest region of hell for ruining what could have been a fine work of art.

@citruzzlove for the same reason that in RAYMONDA she prefears insipid JEAN DE BRIENNE to the fiery saracin,is just a tale.and in particular me too find eric bruhn really depressing,never undrestood the reason he was considered a great dancer

There is NO Giselle like Fracci. She is supremely beautiful...she is not dancing Giselle, she is Giselle dancing! I get goosebumps just watching her video...everyone should see this entire DVD!
