Does anyone know what film the dancing scene is from? Or was it shot just for this documentary? Perfectly shows east meeting west.

the first dancing segment with helen and vyjayanthimala is from the film Prince starring shammi kapoor.

I first saw 'Helen, Queen of the Nautch Girls' on TV in the UK back in the early 1970s - I was 14 years old and I remember being completely blown away by it. I have been in love with Bollywood ever since ! Helen is a goddess ! I always wanted to see this programme again so if you know where I can get a copy of it, please let me know (especially as I only got to see it on a tiny black and white television first time round !)

the documentary is included on the dvd for a movie called "Bombay Talkie". as far as i know, that's the only way to find it.
