Modified crossfit wod.

Five rounds for time of:
25 Inverted Burpees
25 DB Swings, 23.5 kg
25 Burpees

This is round 1. The 5 rounds took a grueling 40:59.

  • Nice hard work. Never seen the inverted burpee before. :o) I often work with a normal burpee and a handstand instead of the jump (or along with the jump). Those things KILL. :o)

    Do you always do burpees touching the ground with the body, or were you just tired? (i totally understand if you were) ;o)

  • Thanks. For burpees, I want my chest and thighs touching the floor at the bottom for full ROM. I try to keep my body straight like in a push-up, but it's hard when the workouts's for time (which it almost always is in crossfit). I count them as legit even when I fail to keep my body straight, but I try to avoid it.

    Anyway, I was tired here, but you should have seen me on round 5 ;)

  • @Kallehviid if your chest doesn't go to the ground then it is a squat thrust right? a burpee is chest to the deck and a jump at the top with arms overhead.

  • Okay, i personally feel that the burpees are harder if i dont touch the floor. But i know you crossfit guys are very fond of the full ROM, no critique, just curiosity. :o)
