Two chess engines. Play "The King" (2100 FIDE rating)and have the game analyzed by "The Queen" a stronger chess program (2350 FIDE rating).
She will analyze the play of both You and "The King" The latter learns from his mistakes and ajust his strength to Your strength,acordingly.

And this the best of the best have been "Abandonware"!? I hope somebody will see what the world has missed and make it come back!
Otherwise I shall play it alone on MS Virtual Machine with Windows 95.

I have this program and have excellent memories of it indeed. It was one of the best programs I ever owned. I recently got windows 98 version of it but it won't work on XP pity.

Well make it work then like I did.;-) I could not make it work on 98, but on 95 it works all right.

Download Microsoft Virtual PC for free. Then You have to get hold of a full! Windows 95(98) and install it into the virtual machine.I adverticed in a news group,and a man donated it to me! After that it is ready for a PowerChess install and play. You can make .iso-files of the PowerChess cd's as the Virtual PC can run those iso's

Chessprogrammes who can beat Kasparow are not funny to play with.

It is a one way street. Play=>loose! Chessprogrammes are not intertaining to the level that PowerChess where.
