Long boring video of the taxi and takeoff out of Essendon in Victoria returning to Adélaïde in South Australia.

This was a special charter flight that was full of fire fighters to assist the CFA with the Victorian Bushfires.

It's quite clear by the amount of smoke in the city.
Downtown Melbourne is barely visible.

  • I will be flying on an Alliance Fokker 50 soon and saw in your video that it was noisy taxiing to the runway, but once it took off according to the video it was quieter.

  • well apparently it's quieter than most turbo-prop aircraft during the flight.

Unless of course you're sitting up the front next to the engines.

  • The last time I flew on a Fokker 50 was when Ansett used to operate them from Melbourne to Burnie/Wynyard. They were a good aircraft.

  • Hey buddy,

You better have been sitting in row 14! Awsome take off, was watching from the ground. Dig the F50, the F100 is great fun too.

    Cheers and funny vid,

    Merv

Ground handler Aus Jet-En. And will pass back the crew photos through your Ops staff. Cheers again.
