maybe u know more about this than me. from what i heard, he was getting involved with the dalai lama and his politics. well, its good to know that he stayed neutral.

@ikhamo I do not agree with this opinion. The CCP wanted him to do the policy by asking him to condemn the Dalai Lama. Khenpo Jigme Phuntsok during his trip to India had refused to condemn the CCP. For the same reasons he refused to condemn the Dalai Lama. He wanted to stay in a Buddhist attitude where any trial is a poison.
But unfortunately for Pcc China believes that whoever is not with them is against them.

@ Ikhamo The CCP is innocent of the death of Khenpo Jigme Phuntsok, but the destruction of the Buddhist Institute in Larung 2001 is a stupid act and a real achievement for human rights and religious freedom.
Khenpo Jigme Phuntsok had opened a way to reconcile tibétins and Chinese and the reactionaries of CCP have destroyed this way!!
