Leo's demo, on the Daily Giz Wiz podcast http://twit.tv/dgw, of the Coleman Flashcell Screwdriver which uses ultracapacitors for charging up the cordless screwdriver in seconds. Original video capture from http://odtv.me.
I have one of these and its awesome! Does everything it claims. I use it for what its supposed to be used for and have worked it hard ....no problem at all! I checked it out and it has the same transmission as Makita...
IF YOU ARE SEARCHING FOR A SCREWDRIVER, READ THIS!
I have got one from ebay and, although the idea is wonderfull, has FAILED after 1 month of work. It recharges 90 secs, yes it gives good performance, but there is ONE BIG FLOP:
The transmission mechanism, that can be found at the top, untie two screws - is CRAP!!
The gears are made OF PLASTIC! That means NEVER ATTEMPT to unscrew or screw something TIGHT or HARD!! Even my 10$ battery screwdriver had transmission gears full-metal!

That wasn't half an hour later. The clock in the background was at 14:18 in both the before and after shots. lol
