Ohio Farmers Feed US is a unique program designed to educate Ohio consumers about the farmers that grow the food they enjoy. Through this program, Ohio farmers are giving away Free Groceries for a Year to three lucky Ohio residents. Complete information can be found at www.farmersfeedus.org. Participating Ohio agriculture groups include Ohio Farm Bureau Federation, Ohio Livestock Coalition, Ohio Beef Council, Ohio Pork Producers Council, Ohio Sheep Improvement Association, Ohio Soybean Council, Ohio Poultry Association and the American Dairy Association Mideast.

@peterandrews111 Pigs are not "highly intelligent". They are so-so as mammals go. Dogs are far more intelligent. Pigs are selfish. They want what they want and yes they are willing to work for food, sex and such. But they are not highly intelligent. I know because I do research and training on both of these species and others. If nothing else, simply look at a split open adult pig head n notice how tiny the brain is. The brain of a dog is bigger both in absolute size n relative to their body.

By law to even get a building permit you have to have a manure management plan. This manure is tested for nutrient levels and is injected into farm fields at the appropriate rate. This by the way is organic fertilizer, and is in high demand. There isn't enough manure to go around......This operation was very nice. Great video! Wilber is some pig, yum. :)

What this video failed to show was the byproducts of these pigs. They conveniently failed to show the huge "lagoon" of pig waste nearby. Pigs produce 2-4 times as much waste as humans, and when you have thousands of pigs in one area, there is no way to disperse or dispose of the waste in an environmentally responsible way.

people that say this isnt a good life for a slaughter bound hog is stupid, yes it could be better but as far as factory farming goes this is a pretty good situation
