Dodge Shadow turbo fuel cut issue.

Having a strange engine cut-out under load & full boost... Seems to be intermittently shutting off the injectors if I had to guess. Definately not spark.
On the bright side my new Motorola Droid phone is actually the best video camera I've ever had. :)

My old LeBaron did the same thing.. it's boost cut out dude.

did u figur out what ur problem was man...cuz am having the same problem in my 3g and its a pain in the ass man....any help would be appreciated from anyone..thanks

i'm having the same exact issue with my civic turbo. did you end up finding the solution?

it looks like you are hitting boost cutout. you have to either get a different pcm or else trick the map sensor.

Oh, and where did you get your gauge pod? I've been looking for one for a shadow for quite a while...

Are you running the stock computer? If you are im surprised your not getting a code 45 as they will cut off your fuel at 15 psi of boost to protect the engine...

There are ways around it but the simplest is to install a performance computer.

Try lowering the boost about 1psi and see if it still does it...

My Shadow cuts out in the higher gears under full throttle because under the load the boost barely hits the cutoff.
