@Wellwellwellwell1 This incident was far from the pilot's fault, he pushed the throttle the way he was supposed to, but the arrestor cable slowed the plane down dramatically before it snapped. There was little he could do to save the plane.

@Wellwellwellwell1 Yea used to get off watching F-18s at night hitting full military after catching the wire but after so many landings even that becomes ordinary.

I'm kind of impressed they resumed flight operations only 1/2 hour after the incident.
