after 14 years in asia, whenever i get a little homesick, this song more than any other reminds me of how grateful i am to be canadian. canada is indeed a solution in search of a problem. i remember seeing the hip at the spoke in '89 at UWO...loved them ever since...why don't they play this song in concert? why? it's the quintessential hip sound...paul's backing vocals are what makes the hip, the hip. je pense souvent au concert au parc jean drapeau avec midnight oil...a bientot, j'espere...

One of the finest Hip songs from their archive of awesome music and lyrics; this song and
"Three Pistols" are two of my favorites.......of course there are so many to choose from !
"Don't tell me.....Don't tell me", that Canada does not ROCK; some of the finest guitar work and progressive rock has evolved from "The Great White North !" At the 100th Meridian....
