I know all you haters out there. You've been around forever dissing Bird, Ornette, Train, Monk, Liebman ,anyone who pushes the boundries, throughout the ages you've been there. Realize you are that person This guy hears every note he plays, the time comment is absurd, ahead of the 1/8 note, on top of the 1/8 note, behind? you've got to break away from your metronome and let it flow. It really pisses me off that a guy could play those ideas on piano or tenor sax and none one complains, but if we play intervals and arpeggios on a guitar people say "he has no soul". That guitar player has more in common with Joe Farrell or Woody Shaw than Stevie Ray Vaughan and that is probably a positive thing.
