I got the realm first cooking achievement on my server 2 minutes after getting logged in on cataclysm release.
I play on Nagrand (US) Alliance as a holy priest.
There were about 15 of us alliance side trying for the achievement grouped in the cooking room before the server cataclysm refresh, and I was the only one that got back in quick enough to do the achievement.
