090322 Approaching KTRI

I was able to arrange for tickets to this year's Food City 500 NASCAR race at Bristol and Bob, a flying buddy, decided to go along to enjoy his first NASCAR event. This video is my descent and approach to Tri-Cities Regional Airport (KTRI). It's interesting to see the hills of eastern Tennessee in this slightly accelerated video (2x normal speed). My cruising altitude on the way down was 10,000 feet and this video picks up as I'm descending through 8,000.

The KTRI controllers were busy handling all the traffic coming in for the race and I cut out very little dead air from this audio track.

See if you can spot the VOR on the ridge.
