Reverse Sneeze

thats not kennel cough thats something called reverse sneezing.. my dog has that AND kennel cough.. but my dogs stomach doesnt do what that dogs stomach was doing!!

our dog has just had the same reverse sneezing and our vet is concerned it might be nasal mites

My whippet does this, usually in fall and spring, so it's allergies. I give 1 Benadryl and it goes away.

Well did they do a test? If it came back positive, then it was kennel cough and not reverse sneezing. They sound very similar.

My 13 yr. old Shiz Zu started this and it's so loud and distressing, I popped a cassette in taped it and called my vet to listen to it. She immediately recognized it as reverse sneezing. I'm so relieved! I thought she was dying! She said to come and pick up some antihistimines and it should help.
