  • Rafi sahib passed away 30 years ago (30 July 1980), but his legend lives on as his voice still continues to entertain and amaze millions around the world. No one replace humble, modest and pious Rafi sahib who changed Indian film playback and music industry forever. He is a book on how to sing. His playback voice changed the fate of many Indian film actors and made them superstars of their time. I feel honoured to have met him, be his family's neighbour in London-UK. RIP Mohammed Rafi.

  • @spsyed Completely agree with everything you have said about Rafi Saheb. You are honoured to have met him and be neighbour to his family, which is terrifc..but I am honoured by just listening to thousands of outstanding songs, ghazals, qawwalis has has sung. There will be no one like Rafi Saheb. May god bless his pious soul in the heaven.

  • Awesome & Fabulous. There is a magic in Rafi Sahab's sweetest voice. His voice mesmerises all listeners. It effects to our mind & heart directly. No any singer in this universe can compete him. In fact God itself appeared in his throat. He was an ANGEL of golden voice. He was superior, excellent, fantastic & very very best human being also. Rafi Sahab was a SAINT. He is GOD for me. He was, he is & he will be IMMORTAL. His name always will be shine.

  • Beautiful song. Thanks for posting

  • This song starts with a very melodious piece on Guitar and may be a hundred violins. A beautiful composition by SJ. I wish you could include it in the beginning. I might have heard it a hundred times but still not bored of hearing that.

  • Sizzling number executed perfectly by handsome Joy and beautiful Asha. Rafi's voice vibrates with restrained passion. That period in time was good in many ways but, like they say, all good things come to an end. Nowadays Bollywood is all about blatant sexuality which does begin to pall after a while.
