  • Thanks so much for this, Steph...my wife is about to have her last chemo treatment after her mastectomy. I've even done a few videos related to this. Best to Eva...

  • that is fantastic!!!! I wish her good health!

  • Thanks for sharing this success story, Steph. Breast cancer is such a scary disease and it's so important that people are aware of it. Best wishes to your friend for being cancer free in the future. :)

  • Lets remind our friends to touch them selves!!

  • Some people come on YouTube to tell jokes and do skits. You come on here to show us a bit of humanity and help us along the way.

  • I do the fun stuff too but I really like to remind people to touch them selves..... :o)

  • dinksmallwood1 are you saying that like this is stupid and we shouldnt talk about this cause it sure seems like it. this is serious and emotional stuff that people go through everyday and i pray and hope to god that scientists find a cure for this disease

  • they have an MIR cure for it now

  • My mother said, that she went to the extreme size, because God had given her a second chance, and she may as well have fun!

My mother is now 46 and there has been no re-occurance of breast cancer, she did have to have a lymphoid removed, but that was it!

Glory to God for that. <3 Lexie

  • Also, Smokers do not heal as well or as fast as non-smokers.

Smokers can not use skin from other parts of the body to graph new skin to re-construct a new breast. My mother had breast-reconstruction, and they attempted to make a nipple out of a skin graph from the darker skin on her inner thighs, however the skin died. She had to use other forms of something, to construct the nipple, that was then tattooed darker, and TA DAA she went from a A cup, to a Modest D cup :P

  • My mom was dx with breastcancer @ 26 she had a double mastectomy at 30. My aunt was dx with breast cancer in Dec. She has had 2 lumpectomies, (spelling?) and its still there, I get a mammo every year, even tho I am still under the age of getting them paid through insurance, but my doctor orders first the breast MRI's and then has medical reason for a mammo, its a lot of red tape, but it must be done.

Fight to get the treatments, preventitive or not to see if you have it. <3 Lex
