With her marvelously soulful rendition of Rabindra Sangeet - Suchitra Mitra's artistry had become almost synonymous to the art form for all of us over the years. In a sense, she surely achieved a legendary status, performing classically for over the last six decades, with the same supreme standards of devotion to Rabindra Sangeet.
Her loss will usher in a sad end to an era of brilliance. This void can not possibly be filled, but we will always be able to travel back in time reliving her poise and grace through her voice. A small dedication to her from a fan.

@kidcaper007 : The second last song is "Amaye Bolo Na, Gahite Bolo Na". If you are acquainted with Geetobitan, then this is the 22nd composition in "Swadesh" porjay. It was composed by Tagore in 1886 (bengali yr 1293)... and is directed towards the bengal/Indian youth to rise up for freedom struggle of their country.
