The Kosovo Liberation Army or KLA (Albanian: Ushtria Çlirimtare e Kosovës or UÇK) was a Kosovar Albanian guerilla group which sought the independence of Kosovo from Yugoslavia in the late 1990s. (Ushtria Çlirimtare e Kosovës, dt.: „Befreiungsarmee des Kosovo) war eine albanische paramilitärische Organisation, die für die Unabhängigkeit des Kosovo kämpfte.

Sie entstand 1994, öffentlich trat sie erstmals 1996 in Erscheinung. Ihr Ziel war die Unabhängigkeit des Kosovo, ihr Mittel war der bewaffnete Kampf. Teile der UÇK strebten auf diese Weise auch den Zusammenschluss aller mehrheitlich von ethnischen Albanern besiedelten Gebiete in Serbien, Mazedonien und Montenegro mit dem Mutterland Albanien an. Mitbegründer und Anführer war bis zu seinem Tod im Jahre 1998 Adem Jashari, danach bis zur Auflösung der UÇK im Jahre 1999 Hashim Thaçi.
