Cold Controller in action. A little program I coded in C to control things like lights and TV's in my house wirelessly via my PSP. All it is, is a few 250v relays hooked up to my PC via a USB interface (these are available at PC-Control.co.uk).

  • how do you do this?

  • The lights and TV are wired to the mains electric for power - they are also connected to 250v relays that are controlled by my desktop PC. So the PSP connects to the PC via WiFi and controls the relays. It's a basic client/server model.

  • Hi there benna, the relay board is made by a company called PC-Control I wired it up to my lights etc. then plugged it into my PC via USB. The pc runs a server program so anyone can connect and control the relays, I have uploaded the code - check the description for a link.
