This video demonstration shows how to Identify a small Harley lightweight from 1948 to 1966.
In this video I'm using a 1950 Harley 125s as a model to id the small lightweights.
An actual Harley lightweight from 1948 to 1955 was not called a Hummer, the term did not start
until 1955 with the introduction of the 1955 Harley 125 Model B Hummer. Which was named after
a Harley dealer from Omaha Nebraska, whose name was Dean Hummer, The Hummer term has been adopted over the years to
Id all of the small lightweights due to the large interest in the small bikes through the internet. The name will
more than likely stick from now on to id all bikes from 1948 to 1966.
