I never said, and never intended to say, that Darcy made a wrong choice marrying Elizabeth. I said that it was socially unacceptable for him to marry beneath him. It would be scandalous for a wealthy aristocratic man to marry some common woman.

Austen was criticizing how society was structured during her time. Love took a back seat to social standing back in Austen's day. She attempted to show that relationships can go beyond social standing. That is why this book is a classic.

At 0:38 when walking home from school past all the noisy cars and I listen to this song and it make me think, "How nice it would be to walk in the English countryside and just be at peace for those couple seconds... walking in a beautiful old fashioned dress.... and my world... for those couple of seconds would be so wonderful." It would get rid if all the stresses of school, boys and everything. I hope someday I find my Mr. Darcy. :)
