Let's Play Lord of the Rings PC DOS (Semi-Blind) - Part 1 - The Bag End

This is the first official gameplay episode of this epically long game. I recruit Pippin and Sam, explore the Bag End, and talk to all the neighbors, and go through skill sets. Our Main quest is to get to Bree and eventually to Rivendell, but we get a few side-quests (in no particular order):

1. Bird in Green Hill singing "Gandalf!"
2. East Woods Wolves
3. Green Dragon Inn Drunken Dwarf

Actually, attributes can change as well, usually this is a quest reward,  Generally this is only a one of two point increase, other the other hand, they can decrease as well. Using the Ring, for example, costs points of Will..

@JundlandBanshee True, I was just saying in general though that after fighting battles you don't really gain EXP or levels like you would in typical RPGs though, it's more like in Guild Wars where you have quest rewards that boost your attributes one time only by a specific number of points.

My God, I've been looking for an LP of this game for a year now, and today, on a whim, I decided to try again. Lo and behold, my long wait is over! This sure brings back some memories.

Ha! Same here. I never got further than the Barrow Downs, so I'm looking forward to actually seeing the rest of the game!
