This is a tribute to the brave warriors who perished on August 6th, 2011 in a chinook helicopter crash, in Wardak province, Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

To those who gave their lives in defense of our Country, Freedom, and Way of Life, and their families who support them.

Thank You.

All three airmen were assigned to the 24th Special Tactics Squadron, Pope Field, N.C.

The song is 'Leaves from the Vine' from Avatar. In the scene, renowned General Iroh laments the loss of his son from a battle years prior, at his grave site on his birthday.

While making this short clip, a draft must have kicked up some dust in my house. I think some got in my eyes.
