  • @spanthrax @spanthrax No sir, they are not. Channel lock is a brand name, like Ford or Craftsman or snap on. They are a company that makes many products. Their first was the product they call the tongue and grove pliers. see channellock d-o-t com. Vise grip is a brand too, they make locking pliers but so do many companies. Use google image search and search multi grove plier, then channel lock.. look at the difference in images.

  • @KyoTheFoxDemon to create a tighter seal. Some folks use a type of was but the tape is easy and cheap. Hope this helps.

  • @ACoustaDC if your going to insult someone and correct them, at least know what your talking about. they are called channel lock pliers not multi grove pliers.

  • 2nd tip call tools what they really are... multi grove pliers... not a wrench.
