I love how the entirely electronic score sort of gives off a cold feeling like you see how Zuckerberg's coldly calculating mind works. It also evokes a bleak vision of our future where people rely way too much on technology to interact with others, in which they find it easier to talk to someone on FB chat rather than in person. How it makes it harder to make an organic connection with hearts and minds with others.

I still feel Inception's music should have won, but The Social Network is an incredible movie. I recommend anyone to watch it!

wanted to comment the exact same thing. I believe Trent Reznor is the no1 musical genius of our time and i've been listening to nine inch nails for 15 years now. still I think Hans Zimmer would have deserved the oscar a little more.
