Yeah, but what about a loaded forklift? Few years ago an electric pallet jack ran over my feet and the steel toe deformed slicing the skin from my toes. Still not completely sold.

The guys in my shop always perpetuated the myth that a forklift would cut off their toes if it ran over their foot. Using the rated crush factor and simple math, I calculated the weight per square inch of the forklift tire vs. sq inch of the steel toe (this case was 200 lbs/sq. in.) and then proved to them with a test just like this one you did that the myth was just urban legend. Thanks for uploading a video showing the banana survived!
