@godofawkward No is that what I said !? No. I said, that people who abuse have, in most cases, been abused themselves, therefore have they never learned to show love the ''right'' way. They don't know how to love someone else, because they've never been loved! There ARE people who have been abused, who make it just fine through adult life, but in most cases they also abuse their own children. It's a fact, look it up. But everyone can feel love, even the abused people.

@TheAmericanDream25 Abuse = love? I know plenty of people who have been abused; hell, I've dealt with it myself. They don't know what love is if they think beating their child, depriving them of sleep, food, warmth, and love, and screaming at them is how to show it. If you don't know what love is, you cannot feel it. Using that same mentality is to say "I'm killing you for your own good".

@godofawkward I believe that even abusive parents love their children. They just don't know how to deal with that love; how to make it into actions. Most abusive parents are abused kids; they've never learned how to show love and care for anyone but themselves. They don't deserve to be parents, but I'm 100% sure that they do love their children.

I have unconditional love, for my older brother, my older sister, and two of my best friends I have had for a decade. Those four people can do ANYTHING, rape, murder, steal, anything and I will still love them. Well... it's difficult to say it exists if you have that love for multiple people, because the only thing any of them could do to make me stop loving them, is to seriously hurt one of the other three.

I feel differently about this, my father abused me all throughout my childhood and I do hold him responsible for his actions by no longer having any relationship with him, however, I do still love him and I value the good times that we had together.
