  • I think Andreas Scholl is an Angels sent by God to comfort us ..

  • @jimdivax Jim honey, I've met him. He's massive, German, hairy and would drink you under the table. But your comment made me laugh like no other.

  • If you like this buy his Bach Cantatas for solo alto. It's sublime

  • @lestertrad John Williams' tone is always that bad ;)

  • @Tphilpott1 It IS the BBC.

  • @divaskater .. Ooh I think I would lLOVE to hear David Hurley sing this, with the brilliant John Williams playing guitar beside him, with the rest of the Kings singers lending their beautiful voices too..*ahh I can hear it in my head anyway... sighs*

I must say though, that I do love Andreas voice too...

Thanks for posting this lovely gem @aeolaus ...

My very best regards to you from Wales UK .. :0)x

  • Andreas is phenomenal .... beautiful performace.

  • 'She bid me take life easy" is an act of soft censorship. The original words are "she bid me to take love easy". It signifies the regret of a young man who ignores the plea of his young lover to be gentle with her.

  • bad quality

  • Right. The sound sucks. Saturated.
