The global economic crisis ignited after an epidemic of home foreclosures in the United States. Now, suicide rates are rising in Japan, with more than 100 people a day taking their lives in April alone.
Japan's suicide rate is already one of the highest in the developed world. But police statistics revealed that Aprils numbers were up 6 percent from the same month last year.
