I usually trim and slice my own breast or just purchase for more money thinly sliced cutlets which cook fairly quick. What I do though is add a pinch of salt to my egg before placing my cutlets in. However, everyone has their own way of doing things so?
I freeze my cutlets once they're breaded using wax paper and aluminum. I usually make about 6-8 extra depending and they last about 1-2 weeks. Just take the amount you want to cook. You can make more and also freeze. Anyway, great video!!

Looks good...but you didn't make chicken cutlets. What you have there is breaded chicken breast....for cutlets you need to filet each breast and pound it out flat...that is proper cutlet...

Flour may keep the chicken moist, but it also adds to the carbs and I have found it's really not any better with flour, particularly if you use panko. That's why I did the video without flour... :)

Flour will keep the chicken moist.
Hi. Enjoyed the video..but-you cannot keep cooked chicken cutlets in the fridge for more than 4 days....3 would be better.Besides the food safety issue, texture will deteriorate.

@ChaChaDave - for what it's worth I have routinely (20 years) kept these cutlets in the fridge for 1-2 weeks. Yes, after a few days they can get a little soggy, you warm them up throw them in a sandwich or on salad & it's fine. As far as safety is concerned, cooked chicken poses no more threat than anything else in your fridge. The worst that can happen is that flavor starts to go after awhile. I often make a big batch on sunday for the week, and sometimes they last past the following sunday.

I thought you had to bake the cutlets after cooking it with oil. Do you know what the difference would be if you baked the chicken?

No WAY! There are some recipes where you brown things for a minute or two and then roast or bake (like Beef Bourgignonne) but with thin cutlets, 2.5 mins per side and you are done. Now, if you want to avoid using the stovetop altogether, you can bread the cutlets and then spray them with olive oil spray and then bake them, but they are nowhere near as tasty.

Great job !! What I really liked was that you have a pleasant voice tone & you explain yourself clearly through-out the video.
Alot of people are trying to cook for themselves to save money due to the economy. Im not sure on how many vids you have on here but helping people to learn to cook for themselves is an awesome idea !! Even if you show us how to boil pasta or cook eggs, it's much appreciated. Some of us have to learn from scratch. Keep up the good work !! Keep me posted on new vids

Thanks so much for your kind words. I was thinking of redoing this video since my kitchen is nicer now, and I have decided that I LOVE panko bread crumbs.
