Projections of artworks by artist Seran Kubisa at Romsey Abbey.

Architectural projections of Kubisa's artworks using a 15000ansi projector are an intrinsic part of her public work. The projection wraps itself around the architecture creating a powerful medium that pulls the viewer into this underlying world of structure and colour, exposing incredible detail of this forensic size fragment.

Artworks are created from a forensic size fragment. The fragment touched and owned by generations past is scientifically analysed under a laser microscope for fluorescence and it's physical worn influences. Areas are selected visually and symbolically to allow resonances of the past to seep into the analyzing and creative process. Seran Kubisa's investigations and cataloguing of objects have exposed hidden and collective memories. All archives and artworks :www.cityforensics.com

This is the video documentary edited montage of the film projection 'Recall' onto the interior fabric of Romsey Abbey.

Kubisa uses a high-tech scientific process to extract the artwork which then becomes an intrinsic part of the film reel and the trigger to the memory being re-leased through stills, film scenes, film archives and sound. Music by composers Stephen Tait and Robert Fage.

Subjects include; The Mary Rose, Lady Hamilton, WW2 Diary, D-Day and a variety of personal objects.
