Nature will always balance, no matter how many people there are. Currently, I don't think there are too much people on the world to sustain. Of course the current situation is unsustainable, but we have the technology to provide all necessities for human life, sustainably, for at least the amount of people we have. Unfortunately many of our activities are not yet sustainable, but eventually we'll have to. Maybe many people will die because of this, but it is not necessary for nature to balance.
